Keith Jones is Amazing! - Brilliant stuff to help you and your family!

Keith Jones Christian bookshop has been around in Bournemouth for as long as I can remember and recently we visited it to have a browse again as it had been a while.  I had forgotten how much AMAZING and BRILLIANT stuff they have in there to help people find out about relationship with God through Jesus and to grow as a Christian if they've already begun that adventure!

I took tons of pictures to show you how good it is to pop in and have a look.  You're bound to find something that will help you.  Or maybe you're looking for a gift to help a friend.  Either way, it's well worth a visit!

Jesus Calling is a book we've got at home and it's a great book to have on your breakfast table if you have kids.  Read a page every morning together and it gives you a few minutes to hear some of God's words in the Bible, a few notes to go with it and a prayer too.  Really good.  And there's a series of them now too...

TONS of brilliant kids' novels for older children, like the Chronicles of Narnia and lots more...

There's whole sections of books for various ages and topics, etc...

Here's a few books we spotted that we love...

In the "Kids' Biographies" section we noticed this one done by the same people who did 'Everything a Child Should Know About God' - A book we gave out to Bright Idea families.  This one looks brilliant too and has a quick page or two on loads of Christians from history who's faith in Jesus led them to do amazing things that have made the world a better place...

Loads of brilliant children's Bibles like this one...

These little promise books for boys and girls are full of the God's promises from the Bible to encourage and build faith...

And they've got this very special book and the author has kindly said that all the funds raised from it goes to PACE. :)

Not surprisingly, there's a HUGE selection of Bibles!  We recommend getting a modern translation (TNIV is my favourite but NLT is also great and there are others).  The NIrV (NIV Readers Version) is great for early readers or for grown ups who aren't big readers.  It uses more common words that are easier to understand and shorter sentences so it breaks things up a bit (I don't think the apostle Paul used a lot of full stops once he got going!)...

AND they've got absolutely LOADS of DVDs (and music) too!!  There's loads of great ones we would recommend for family viewing or for watching with friends.  All sorts for all sorts here!  If you need any guidance about what we've seen that's great, feel free to ask!

So next time you're in Bournemouth town centre, definitely make a point of popping into Keith Jones or visit their website and take a look at all the great stuff they've got.  We are spoilt for choice in this part of the world for resources to help us wheverever we're at in our spiritual journey!

Keith Jones - We salute you! :)
